The Village des Créateurs, created in 2001, aims to federate, support and extend brands in fashion and interior design..
A true incubator of fashion companies, the Village des Créateurs offers a unique concept by hosting a dozen of young brands resident in workshops and in workshop boutiques in the Passage Thiaffait, in the Croix Rousse area in Lyon. Other fashion companies that are also member of the association (approximately forty ) enjoy the benefits of coaching and counseling offered by the Village des Créateurs.

The Village des créateurs, it is :
- A support service: young designers are personally monitored by specialists in economics, managerial, trading and marketing. Training sessions are offered on these themes, and fashion professionals listen, advise young contractors.
- A place to live: THE PASSAGE THIAFFAIT
(19 rue René Leynaud, 69001 Lyon) located on the slopes of the Croix Rousse area known for the Lyon silk history , listed within the World Heritage inscrit of UNESCO. In this 18th century traboule is the Village des Créateurs where one can find young designers' collections sold in their workshop boutique and in "Le Tube à essai" shop which is managed by students from the Fashion University (open from Wednesday to Saturday from 12 am to 7 pm) ... not to mention the coffee bar and restaurant "Café Cousu" open from Tuesday to Sunday. This exceptional place also sees the pace of Lyon and hosts events for the Fêtes des Lumières, the Nuits sonores…
- A resource center with availability of resources: photocopier, software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lectra system), meeting rooms, library collection and press ... and an exhibition room where members can organize their own event: ephemeral showroom, exhibition / sale, opening ...

- A website to present the designers of the Village and all their latest news.

The Galeries Lafayette in Part-Dieu and in Bron host several times a year for a fortnight, brands supported by the Village des Créateurs.

An exploring and shopping day of our designers at the Passage Thiaffait in a festive atmosphere: gourmet buffet, live jazz in a garden setting for the 2009 edition.
CREATEURS DE TENDANCE
Each year the Centre Commercial of La Part-Dieu organizes with the Village des créateurs fashion shows: seven designers are highlighted during three days in order to get themselves known to the public.
Le PEAH

The Village des Créateurs, the discovery of new talent
The Village des Créateurs detects young talents who are launching their own brand: Clothing, accessories, jewelry, decorative objects, ... companies in project or start-ups.
Isabelle Gleize, Director of the Village des Créateurs is part of the jury of ESMOD College, of the University of Fashion in Lyon and of LISAA in Paris...
And the Village des créateurs organizes the annual "Talents de mode", the international contest for new companies in fashion. It is aimed at project leaders or at young contractors who started their business for less than a year. The first prize is of 5,000 euros. (Erreur ! Référence de lien hypertexte non valide.)

- Participation of designers from the Village in trade fairs and exhibitions abroad (Barcelona, Madrid, Montréal, ...)
- Hosting of young foreigner designers in the Village des Créateurs (Germany, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Russia, Moldova, Georgia ...)
